Use these small olive tree wood spoons for coffee, loose tea leaves, sugar, salt, and more! Each spoon is about 4″ long. Due to the nature of olive tree wood, each spoon will appear different. Therefore, each spoon is incredibly unique! We suggest handwashing the spoons and occasionally coating the spoons with olive oil to prevent the wood from drying out.

Githomo gifts are handcrafted items, which are both native and traditional to the Kikuyu tribe in Kenya. They are made out of natural fibers such as olive wood trees, sisal, banana tree bark, grass, sticks, corn husks, or any other natural material readily available to them. Women in the Mount Kenya region create these handmade gifts as a way to pay for school fees for girls in their area who would otherwise not have a chance to go to school.
